Jeff's Camp at a Glance

A Home for Heroes

Named for late United States Army Veteran and helicopter Crew Chief, Jeffrey Allen Poissant (1961-2017), Jeff’s Camp is being designed to be a place where former US Service personnel can turn to when in need. Jeff owned 36 acres of land in Barnagat, New Jersey and shortly before his passing asked his partner of 31 years, Martin Weber to use that land in service of veterans. Jeff’s Camp exists to carry out that legacy.

It’s a not-for-profit corporation organized to exclusively help veterans and their families overcome mental illness, addiction, homelessness, and poverty. The site is being designed to one day house drug and mental health facilities, temporary and permanent housing, and offices providing education, training, and job placement.
